We all remember the nail biting moment back in 1997 during the last over when we needed 11 runs to win. Whole Bangladesh sitting in front of the radio listening to Chowdhury Jafarullah Sharafat & Pilot taking the winning run. That historic moment was a beginning of a new era of BD cricket & since that victory, Cricket has been a great source of inspiration for the youth of Bangladesh. It was the same inspiration that gave birth to Jage Ullash.

The true cricket spirit arrive only once in every four years & now that we can feel it in our fingers & through our veins, we have compiled this video with an intention to inspire our cricket team & the fans to cherish the spirit of cricket & support our country during the Cricket World Cup 2015. Let our hearts throb hard enough with the spirit so that everyone can hear us cheering with life, just like that other day :).

Sometimes in life we make impulsive choices that cost us heavily. This song is in memory of all the beautiful lives lost into darkness, battling for happiness and got cast away.

This story is about a simple village girl who sets on a journey in search of her husband. She is the only child to her parents & got married to the boy she knew little about against her widowed mother’s will. Her husband was a part of a malicious group who, upon completing his hideout time, left the village and never contacted back.

Not being able to wait any longer, she departs after a year leaving her mother behind and sets off for Dhaka in search of her husband where she falls into darkness. Discovering the truth about her husband, she was ashamed to return home & gives her life away.

This song interprets her conscience’s view of reality about the selfish world and how it has always been like that for long. The words of the song tries to inspire her to start fresh & to walk alongside light! After-all life is the most beautiful gift & we get a single chance to live it.

Truth lies in small things like the purity of her mother's heart whilst peace is found when we colour our lives with the essence of truth hidden within the small beauties of life. And that is where we find God.

কখনো কখনো শুধুমাত্র আবেগপ্রবণ হয়ে আমরা এমন কিছু সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে ফেলি যার জন্য আমাদের ভবিষ্যতে নেমে আসে বিপর্যয়ের ঘোর অন্ধকার। এই গানটি অন্ধকারে হারিয়ে যাওয়া সেই সব সুন্দর জীবনের স্মৃতির উদ্দেশ্যে নিবেদিত, যারা একটুখানি আনন্দের জন্য জীবন যুদ্ধে লড়ে গেছে প্রতিদিন।

এই গল্পটি, স্বামীর সন্ধানে নেমে পড়া গ্রামের সাধারণ একটি মেয়েকে নিয়ে, যে তার বিধবা মায়ের ইচ্ছার বিরুদ্ধে খুব অল্প সময়ের পরিচয়ে বিয়ে করে একজনকে। অসৎ চক্রের সাথে জড়িত তার স্বামী আত্মগোপনে থাকা সময়টুকু শেষ করে গ্রাম ছেড়ে চলে যায় কোন রকম যোগাযোগ না রেখে।

এক বছরের অপেক্ষা শেষে নিজের স্বামীকে খুঁজে বের করার আশায়, মেয়েটি নিজের মাকে পেছনে ফেলে পাড়ি জমায় ঢাকার উদ্দেশ্যে, যেখানে অশুভ কালো ছায়া গ্রাস করে নেয় তার পৃথিবী। স্বামীর ব্যাপারে সত্য জানবার পর গ্রামে ফিরে নিজের মায়ের সামনে দাঁড়ানোর সাহসটুকু হারিয়ে ফেলে। ঠেলে দেয় নিজেকে আত্মহননের মত করুণ পরিণতির দিকে।

এই গানটি হাজার বছর ধরে চলে আসা স্বার্থপর এই পৃথিবীর কিছু নির্মম বাস্তবতা তুলে ধরে পরাঘাত করে মেয়েটির বিবেককে। প্রতিটি শব্দ তাকে আহবান জানায় আরেকবার নতুন করে শুরু করতে, আলোর পথে হাঁটতে। সবশেষে জীবনতো একটাই, একবারই সুযোগ পরিপূর্ণভাবে বাঁচার !

সত্য লুকিয়ে আছে আমাদের জীবন ঘিরে থাকা ছোট ছোট আনন্দগুলোর মাঝে যেমনটি আছে মায়ের মমতাময় অনুভবে। শান্তি মেলে তখনই যখন আমরা জীবনকে রাঙাই জীবনের পটে ছড়িয়ে ছিটিয়ে থাকা বিন্দু বিন্দু অজস্র আনন্দের মাঝে আর এভাবেই যেন আমরা খুঁজে পাই পরম সৃষ্টিকর্তার পথের দিশা !

Have been working on this song for quite some time now & I feel very peaceful to be able to announce the release of the official audio. This song is very special to me since its inspiration came from a beautiful moment & it was the same night I wrote the lyrics, completed the tune & sketched the idea of the composition. Thanks to Khayam Sanu Sandhi for an amazing music production. Also thanks to Mithun Chakra for the percussions, Nafeez Al Amin for drums, Alistair Sarkar Raj for bass & Karishma Sanu Sovvota for the back vocals.

Like my other songs, Chotto Kono Golpo also has a story telling. It is about the beauty of a self obsessed butterfly gazing outside the window on a rainy day, lost within her thoughts & trying to understand the colours of her distinct emotions. It is within the depth of her eyes, her soul speaks of a belief in the existence of a higher entity within the unknown, which could purge all her pains away.

While the author speaks to her about the tales of the fairies & the castle of light beyond the clouds where wishes do come true, a peaceful silent smile whispers about her faith in his words. The author mesmerized & inspired by her faith, recites his prayers to the Lord to call upon the angels of wind & rain down on earth to heal her heart with the purity & blessings of nature.
