new big Love currently produces exclusively dawless, i.e. with hardware instruments in order to catch the vibe of a realtime instrument. Office computers cannot be part of a creative process. This hardware-only system allows nbL to feel and perform the same way like, for example, on a drumset, but with endlessly more possibilities to shape the sound. new big Love performances currently involve synths and drum-machines like the esx1, mpc Live, virus b synthesizer, a mixing console as well as some fx and occasionally live percussion.
