You ever hear jungle breaks echoing through an empty parking garage at 3 a.m.? That’s what this is for. Mean Streets is built for late-night runs and lost causes. It's a drum and bass tribute to the golden age of the PlayStation, back when everything felt faster, dirtier, realer. Back when we were still counting polygons kid. 

Think Wipeout 2097, Ridge Racer, Need for Speed. This is the sound of busted-up jungle drum and bass straight from a memory card left in the rain.

Yeah, there's liquid DnB in here, even some future garage, the kind that creeps in when the streets are empty and the rain won’t stop and you can't get those damned memories outta your head. But don’t get it twisted kid, the heart of this record is that early-2000s jungle mayhem. The stuff that came out of blown speakers and off bootleg discs. That sound that made you drive too fast and care too little.

So here’s your induction, rookie. The Mean Streets don’t care who you are. But if you’re gonna race out here, you better have the right soundtrack. And now, you do.

Jauzas The Shining (Shipwrec, Last Known Trajectory) returns to New Flesh Records, this time accompanied by his compatriot Eliot Forin aka Foreign Sequence (D.KO Records, Concrete Collage).
The unexpected duo delivers four unreleased killer cuts of high caliber for your own pleasure. Very Scifi “Talking Machines” takes place in a dystopian future and brings together a collection of powerful electro tracks incorporating elements of rawness, acidity, and melancholy at the focus of this intent. 
In overture of the A side, gloomy “Death By Fuzz” offers an epic collaboration between the two artists: the song fully illustrates the analog brilliance and dancefloor dazzling that they are able to. This heading jam picks things up with solid metallic drums while punishing percussions lift the track even higher until the end. Brainwashing “Painful Headaches” instantly following sees Foreign Sequence in a brilliant solo exercise where he unleashes the acid whereas a solid rhythm leads you to the dancefloor for some robotic and insane movements!
Side B opens with eponymous track “Talkin’ Machines”, a pulsating journey into processors and computer drivers from the French pair. Characterized by unhealthy melodies, pounding beats and cyborg noises, the cut merges fascinating sequences and dark atmospheres. With its astral pads, Jauzas The Shining’s final song “Colombia” takes you on a cosmic trip, traveling at light speed through time and space thanks to mighty distorted FX. A rough ride, deep and intricate to destination unknown, the perfect future funk soundtrack for an no return exploration.
“Talkin’ Machines” celebrates the collision of two worlds, two artists with strong universe and personality to become one entity. Rush on it!

t_error 404 is a rhythmic noise & post-industrial techno project by Vladimir Cherepanov (Владимир Черепанов) from Moscow. He is well known in the Russian underground electronic scene having been active there since 2006 as one of the regions first rhythmic noise acts to have broken into the global underground techno-industrial circuit with releases on labels such as X-IMG, Khemia Records, RND. Records, Wunderblock Records, and AREA Z, augmented by punishing live performances at such venues like Urban Spree, Rabitza, Pluton, Aglomerat, КПД and more.

All tracks recorded 2017-2019 and topped off by a SARIN remix that has been re-mastered for this 12 track cassette release (previously out as digital only by Wunderblock Records).

Digital & Tapes release May 26th 2020 - Edition of 50 florescent green cassettes with a run time of 64 minutes.

As part of a full-fledged album of the project, it consists of the 10 author's compositions from Body to HI-NRG; from Trance to Hard Core, seamlessly mixed with Mental Techno and Acid.

The Christologic sequence of the ‘Holographic Artifact’ increases its tempo and the content while following the each new track in the release. The spread of the tempo is wide: from 125 bpm to 172 bpm. The material was recorded without using a computer and based on the classical 909 / 808 drum section and using an early set of a studio equipment. All this makes you feel the strength, power and breath that early Rave breeze right now!
