'The 'Ninth Hour’ is a song which reflects the reality of a Heavenly King, who, out of absolute love for us, gave up His throne for a cross.  In writing the song I wanted to say thank you and sorry at the same time,  that The Son Of God would do this for me, to free me of my slavery to the world and to death;  opening the gates of heaven in eternal salvation.  The song concludes with the drama of ’The Ninth Hour’ where darkness fell upon the land, the winds rise, the ground quakes and the veil is torn.  Thank You Jesus, that You took my place..’ PW
