We made this late last year and passed it to a few friends but have had a surge of renewed interest including it being charted on Resident Advisor and Wez Saunders from Endemic Records, Matt Black from Segment playing it out and about.
It was kinda nice to see, so being the kind Southern Cross boys we are we thought we'd set it free for download.

Heavily sampling/using  "Summer Madness" by KC Flightt
(It was the follow up to "PLANET E"  a RAVE CLASSIC  from 1989.  and if you've never heard that song, go find, it's HUGE!)

I first helped to recorded this in Jersey in the possible late 70's maybe early 80's.
Helping my Uncle make a demo for his Live Pub Gigs.
I chose the song and operated the drum machine.
i.e. i pressed the Now button for the drum rolls!
My Aunt on bass and backing vocals, Paul on guitar and lead vocals.
Recorded to reel to reel 4 track i think...

So 30 years or more on and i was playing some old RAVE CD Singles and put KC Flight on and just, started singing along!
....and so, a week later and here it is!

This is is where the phrase "HOUSE MUSIC" began.  Take a listen and enjoy.  As a young dancer, sneaking into clubs underage, this is where my roots came from.  Dancing at the Garage, Zanzibar, Funhouse, CLub 88 and more.  Some call this Rollerskating music, I sent this to Mr C, he just said, "SHOWBOAT, WHAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS??"  Flex used to DJ this at SKATES.   This is not my mix, but I wanted to share.  This is DJ Chill X from Newark.
