Atico Corp vuelve a su segunda casa (para los que no les sigais "Un Futuro Creible" es su sello principal) para editar junto al festival 17820 una edición limitada física y una entrega sin precio en digital.
La referencia la inaugura AT59 Breakbeat Vocal Mix, el nombre ya deja entrever lo que sera el contenido de el tema, sonidos breaks noventeros con dulces toques de voz femenina amenizan el track dejando las sutiles melodías en la memoria de aquellos maravillosos noventas...... los bajos enriquecen una pieza única donde se podrá bailar en el joven festival de Banyoles.
Después de caer en el segundo track sin voces tropezamos con un pilar fuerte del proyecto, R.I.P Bestia es hermano, parte fundamental de los trabajos de Atico Corp, y remixer por excelencia del proyecto, para esta ocasión deja plasmado su manera sutil de producir dejando para nuestra historia un track de breaks con bajos marcados y voces sensuales, ideal para cerrar los ojos mientras se degusta.
El disco lo cierra la versión electro, y como no podía ser menos, el gusto y la energía noventera se apodera de todas y cada una de las frecuencias, lo más normal, es que cuando escuchas a Atico Corp dejes por momentos de centrarte y pierdas, durante unos minutos la realidad, el sábado 1 de octubre podremos disfrutar del proyecto al completo en un festival que ha venido para quedarse

VS is an original collaboration between "Africaine 808" and "Umeme Afrorave" launched in october 2015 with the support of Mawimbi.
“Flamingo Hangover” reads like a heartfelt tribute to 70's caribbean disco productions. A heady steel drum lead is laid on top of rich, colourful horn arrangements, while the steady dancehall backbeat reminds us this track started out as a jam between musicians fascinated with Jamaican musical culture. 
“Dance of the Harpy” premiered here, plays at a much higher tempo with complex afro-cuban polyrhythms and a harsh hi-hat pattern. Playful call-and-response bell melodies are laid down against similar synthesizer patterns until an out-of-this-world bass sound comes in causing havoc and definitely making this otherwise efficient club track a rewarding listen ! Out 16/12 guys, mark your calendar!

Premiere: Biodub - Schweben

For the first single from a 6-track EP from Montreal's Clarian (who is also one half of Footprintz), the Canadian reached well beyond the border to collaborate with Tel Aviv-born, Madrid-based producer Guy Gerber on "Claire." Gerber has been a major player on Israel's electronic scene since 2006, running his own Supplemental Facts label and infusing traces of minimal techno, tech house, downtempo and deep house in his productions, while remaining singular in his approach. Clarian's vocal contributions were at the heart of Gerber's progressive house-leaning Fabric mix from last year, which joined the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Omar-S of artists that turned in single-artist mixes to the series. "Claire" starts amid a queasy vocal snippet (with Clarian's French whisper lodged in at the midpoint) and threatens to go darker and deeper. But a steady handclap and glimmering melodic line uplifts and casts light across this seven-minute track.

After our inaugural release by STL we look to a long running UK based artist Soomro. Growing up in the W10 part of London, Honest Jon’s was a stones throw away and Soomro’s first proper musical eduction. At a young age he was absorbing and digging through various genres and artists like King Tubby, Pink Floyd & Miles Davis, then going onto experience first hand in his teens the 90's golden era of UK underground dance music, from listening to UK Garage artists like R.I.P. Productions and Tuff Jam at the Gas Club to Drum & Bass artists like Dillinja and Source Direct at the Blue Note. These experiences were the foundations that helped shape and influence what Shaun does musically till this day.


Little White Lies opens the EP: Ambient, melancholic rolling UKG to light up the floor. Forever Smiling: A dreamy house gem perfect for sunrise euphoria or after party bliss. Hope For Sorrow: Sometimes the most beautiful emotions come from the darkest of places, this breakbeat beauty is a highlight, slowing allowing hope to shine through. Metalheadz affiliate and Exit boss dBridge does a epic rework of “Little White Lies” stripping the track down to it’s core elements and taking things up with a 85bpm halftime beat, slowly evolving and mutating the further you listen recalling memories of the autonomic era with Instra:mental. The Nothing Is Promised EP is as much to dance too in a club as it is to listen too at home.
