"During their 2015 UK Summer Tours, Le Parody (Madrid) and Gizmo Varillas (London) crossed paths on a few occasions around England, and after a few shows sharing the stage, something magical occurred. 

They both spent several days together to write and record ‘Summer Rain’ at Gizmo’s Studio in East London. A slow, deep, folky pop song happened on the spot -mostly about intimacy and love. 

Le Parody, strongly influenced by modern Africa, Bollywood music and rave culture, and Gizmo Varillas, coming from the underground UK scene and the sounds of Latin America, have blended her drum machine and anarchic sexy attitude with his sweet yet dark compositions to give us something that felt comfortably familiar and strangely new. 

A bunch of different, exciting and intriguing vibes by this London-Madrid pop-up duo are flowing into ‘Summer Rain’, the kind of song that most people didn't know could exist. "
