This time in A lydian.  The lydian scale always make me think of Flying.  (Ever dreamed of flying!!?)

Years ago, my brothers and I had spent several weeks getting my dad's house ready to sell after he had passed. I was in the realtor's office ready to sign the paper work when the prospective buyers asked why I wasn't buying the house I grew up in.  I said (not thinking) "Too many ghosts".  The realtor immediately jumped in and said, "he means memories" to which I smiled confirming the needed clarification:)  It does beg the question however, how many "ghosts" haunt our lives; bad decisions, fractured relationships, things we did or failed to do.  I have found hope and forgiveness in the Christian faith, others have found healing in the passing of time, others still carry a heavy burden of what could have been or should have been.  Peter explores the theme in poignant verse to Seagull's quixotic soundtrack.  I am honored to  contribute a few colors to the tapestry;)

Ghost of a Sense:

Yes, I know you.
I can feel your presence.
I can touch you, smell you.
I see you not by sight of eye
And yet I ken that you are I
That vespered wraith that writhes within

Push the bounds to cause offence
A moral, soul thing, ghost of a sense recalls myself, so well defined

Ghost of a Sence (Seagull, Peter, David)

My friends Pikachu and Elephant heard all the fun the mouse and I were having making our little orchestra and decided to join in.

The shift supervisor is still out and the night shift boys are not getting much work done as they play their accordions instead of greasing the machinery.  I hope their easy jobs are safe from any layoffs !

note:
I wanted an early 20th century factory kind of sound for this track.  I tried using an accordion bass but then I remembered Hank Tilbury' s ( @hanklebury ) recording of the real thing posted a while ago see:

I heard some of Greg Savin's tracks and thought it would be fun if he applied some of his modern audio processing techniques and added his "Uke Bass"  to an old klezmer tune played on my accordion.   Quite a change - and certainly more interesting than my rather plain starting track.

Added "uke bass" (uke sampled and pitch-lowered). Part 2, an increased tempo chorus with some some percussion pattern added (just grabbed a drum kit in my DAW with a simple beat pattern).
