The farm workers, who wore straw hats and caps, listened as Manuel Lobo Cabrera spoke of uniting as workers.  In a red shirt, he stood directly in the dividing line between Mexico and the U.S.

Ciudad Juárez Mayor Enrique Serrano said he was present at the protest to show solidarity. “I am no stranger to the  struggle in the fields,” Serrano said. “As a federal and state representative we championed causes for the farm workers of our country and state… and we joined important movements for our farm workers.”
