It was the end of a recording session and the atmosphere was chilled. So before the engineer could put the microphones away,  we stole a moment and did this on a whim…Happy Christmas!

Jonathan Rea studied music at Cambridge University, winning the Rima Alamuddin prize for performance, and is now active as a conductor, pianist, composer and producer, with clients including BBC, RTE, Belfast City Council, the Northern Ireland Assembly, Gettymusic and Rend Collective. He has conducted several programmes for BBC Songs of Praise, in which many of his arrangements featured. He is also in demand as a seminar speaker, focusing on worship, music and church life. He is Creative Director of New Irish Arts, a thriving organisation which presents Christianity through the Arts in Ireland.
