Eternal Summer

NexCyx [nex-ix] began as a summer experiment among friends, and has since evolved into a
celebrated outfit with a repertoire of original hit music and a solid fan base. The band artfully blends pop with dance music, alternative and hip hop, fused with unmistakable Caribbean influences.

NexCyx has five members: André (keyboardist), Chadd (drummer), Kris (bassist), Mahalia (lead vocalist) and Russell (guitarist).

In under a decade, the band has performed at venues throughout Europe, North America and the Caribbean region, gaining global recognition for their fresh sound. 

NexCyx has steadily been grabbing the attention of industry insiders and influencers, and has shared stages with Damian Marley, Erykah Badu, Sting, Tom Jones and Wyclef Jean.

The band holds an MTV Artist of the Week accolade, a Band of the Year honor at the noted Barbados Music Awards, and is featured on Canadian TV series, “Club One New Releases.”
