The second cut from the VA is proudly & purely thanks to Manchester talent. With well over 4 decades of experience shared between them, Zed Bias, Chimpo & Salo manage to pull off a dusty jungle track that wouldn’t sound out of place on primetime radio.

All pieces of the puzzle end up fitting themselves in this one: Bias’ distinctive keys and Chimpo’s signature breaks leave a gap in the spectrum that could only ever be satisfied with Salo’s soulful vocal work… Add some live trumpets from George Wrong in for good measure and you’ve got yourself an anthem.

The Remix EP Vol 6

Self Proclaimed People's Republic of Shrublands (L0G1N Remix)

Liquid drum and bass has been my most listened to of all music genres over the last 5 years, so I thought after taking a nice break away from uploading I wanted to come back and collate a bunch of my favourite newer and a few older liquid drum and bass tracks. 

As we head into November, I thought an autumn vibe for the mix would work well which also feels quite nostalgic after a great summer. I have always enjoyed the more melodic and soulful styles of drum and bass with long sweeping bass arrangements, so this mix was great to record, especially with the slow and smooth mixing style. I hope many of you enjoy listening to it.
