Next Summer - Umbrella

Damian Sebastian and Marco got to know each other in summer 2002. Based on their shared passion for music, they decided to establish a band themselves shortly after. 

A couple of demo songs were recorded on an old tape deck in the beginning and the guys played these to some close friends to get a first response. Surprisingly, the feedback was enormously positive and more than they had expected at all. 
Encouraged by this they started their journey for an appropriate band name which was found late at night in a club named “Keller” in Dortmund. 
The name is based on a statement from Damian he made in that night: “Hey, every time we said that we would have a band next summer. 
So what about calling us NEXT SUMMER ???” Everyone agreed and the band was finally born and named.
From time to time Sebastian and Marco started to record their self written songs in a home studio. 
Two friends who had some experience in the music business became interested and started to produce some work of Next Summer. Thanks to them, the band was able to publish some songs on the internet in relatively high quality. 
Christian and Tom are full members since the end of 2011 and thereby accomplish the line up of the band. 
Nowadays the guys are jamming in a basement somewhere in Dortmund as often as possible.
