False Persona launches his label Etched with 'Cradled / Headrush', a 2-track melting pot of influences that effortlessly blends a range of inspiration from electro and breaks, to ambient and leftfield bass. 

The opening track 'Cradled', gradually builds through an ethereal, cinematic soundscape that carries between sections, taking the listener on a textural journey, before descending into a signature dark and driving rhythm that pulsates throughout the track. 
Topped with hyper-active vocal chops and ear-candy, 'Cradled' sets the precedent for Etched. 

On the heavier side of the two we have 'Headrush', a title which couldn't be more appropriate when describing the chaotic energy this track resonates. Armed with a carefully crafted palette of sound design and drums that will undoubtedly make your ribcage rattle, 'Headrush' is unapologetically False Persona. Proceed with caution.

Long time Nervous Horizon affiliate DJ JM is back on the imprint with a new essential club EP titled ‘Barrakuda’. 

Marking the Lithuanian artist's third release on Nervous Horizon, after last year’s ‘Abnormal’ EP, ‘Barrakuda’ is perhaps the greatest expression to date of a confident and refined rawness that DJ JM has become known for. 

Composed as a frenzied collection of club cuts bearing the quintessential playful swagger of JM’s attack-drum style, Barrakuda’s freneticism is alleviated and accentuated through diverse drum steps and highly attitudinal melodics.The title track’s rolling percussive groove and warping crescendos which open the EP are followed by the fluctuating arpeggiated synths of the bristolian-tech influenced ‘Charge’. A driving tribal electro groove accompanied by a catchy 4/4 beep melody make “Swilling’’ a captivating club anthem, while the striped back electro warper ‘Unzyp’ reaches the edges of the industrial sonic realm with house accents and wailing sirens. The eerie mood of the proto-tribal-house inspired ‘Winted’ is the perfect lead to Barrakuda EP’s closing track ‘Sygnal’, which features label head TSVI and rounds the EP on a more straight up techno note, bearing all the hallmarks of the pair's respective signature sounds.

Two titans of texture & energy, Yazzus and Jensen Interceptor, collide to bring us their emphatic & berserk 'Mecha Tools' EP. Four bass tech rhythm heavy eva's designed for the sole purpose of lifeform transcendence. Both Berlin based, they start things off by taking us on a trip to the magic city with their multi formed genre melting machine 'I'm Going To Miami' which sets the tone for the tools ahead. Echos of tribal, bass & techno are all layered throughout, fused to perfection, showcasing the pair's peak production prowess. Then the alarm is sounded with a jacking vocal chop on 'OMG Unit', which is met by an avalanche of thunderous drums and futurist patterns, constantly pushed along with quick experimental cuts, and a barrage of blanketing groove, 'OMG Unit' is a perc workout like no other. The quaking continues with 'ACT Right' which sees the duo fully launch their shared love for all things bass and scrapyard percussion. Finally, we get a slight cooling off with 'Killua 99' to bring us back down to earth, but make no mistake, K99 still strikes & jacks with an endless snare groove that parades over droning bass, along with some psych & rap vocal pairing creating perfect nerv synchronization.
