We're keeping things stateside for our next release. This time Minneapolis’s Mikrodot is stepping up for his very first solo EP on our label. This guy has been building quite a name for himself the past couple of years, you might recognize him from releases on labels such as Duploc, BLXCK TXPES, For the Heads, Foundation Audio or even Next Level. For this EP he's delivered four tracks that’ll make you think it’s 2006 all over again. Alas.. Those times are sadly behind us, but when you hear tracks like these you can't help yourself but draw for your gunfingers.

The EP starts off with title track “Telepathic”. A minimalistic wobbler that’ll get you craving those barely lit smoke filled rooms and giant stacks of subs. Because you’ll want to feel this one when the low-end kicks in. You can tell Mikrodot isn’t fighting the DMZ era Coki influences at all on this one.

Next up it’s “Babylon”. Here Mikrodot dispenses with the pleasantries and starts to show you how versatile he actually is. This heavyweight stomper will instantly remind you of the classic Skream material we all know and love but mixed with some of that Mikrodot magic.

The third track is the much anticipated “Hypnotoad”. This is probably the ultimate froggy wobbler out there. With it’s swampy atmospherics, tropical funky drums and croaking wobbles he keeps the track ribbiting to the end. All glory to the Hypnotoad!

The final track is “Wartime Dub” this one features Six Chakra and the title could not be more relevant present day. We hope nobody will ever have to see the atrocious horrors of war. But it seems that in 2023 this is still just a dream. Our thoughts go out to all the families who are suffering in warzones at the moment.
