Jamie Jones recruits Max Dean for ‘Start Screamin’ on Hottrax this July. 

Previously appearing on Resonance, Deeperfect, South Records, and more, Max Dean’s productions receive vast amounts of support from the likes of Michael Bibi and Jamie Jones. Now readying his first release for Jones’ Hottrax imprint, the UK-based DJ/producer drops two groove-laden tracks, marking some of his strongest productions to date. 

Leading the release, the title track ‘Start Scream’ brings swung drums, bouncy basslines, and memorable vocal licks together for an undeniable groover. ‘Yes Baby’ follows suit, bringing another welcome house cut, peppered with spoken word and eerie synth hits over funky low end and skippy percussion.

Max Dean comes correct with three stellar cuts for Richy Ahmed’s Four Thirty Two imprint, backed with a tidy wAFF Remix to round off the forthcoming ‘In You’ EP.

The London-born producer has been firing on all cylinders of late, rolling out a slew of club belters for labels such as Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves Raw, Lee Foss’ Repopulate Mars and East End Dub’s Eastenderz, to name a few.

A trio of sleek and smooth house grooves are offered up on ‘In You’, including a collaboration alongside Ukraine DJ & Producer DMosto, as well as a first-rate remix from wAFF (Hot Creations/Moon Harbour/NATURE).
