Nessa clima junino não poderia deixar de lembrar dessa raiz nordestina. Teresina era a cidade de um de seus parceiros da tropicalia e amigo Torquato Neto. Caetano retornava pela primeira vez em Teresina pra fazer um show após a morte do amigo. Teve um encontro com pai de Torquato, Dr. Heli, que convidou para sua casa e lá Caetano se emocionou, e pela primeira vez caiu em lagrimas por lembrar do amigo. Dr. Heli lhe ofereceu uma cachaça com o nome de Cajuína e uma "rosa menina" colhida de seu quintal. No dia seguinte Caetano escreveu a música Cajuína expressando em palavras cantadas a complexidade e simplicidade de momentos que despertam sentimentos quase intraduzíveis.
