Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the British dj & producer Cressida (Voitax / Monnom Black).

Born in the UK and based in Berlin, Cressida’s sound is a cross-pollination of these two sonic spectrums - the rhythmic, dystopian force of techno fused with a sound embedded in various points of the UK hardcore continuum. 
Jungle, grime, breakbeat, industrial and the many low end-centric offshoots in between all colour and shape his creative output.

His DJ sets encapsulate this approach - driven by a spirit of eclecticism and finely attuned to effectively working dancefloors, having spent much of his formative years as part of them. 
Previous performances have seen Cressida play everything from loopy, dynamic techno through to ambient & esoteric strains of bass music.
We are thrilled to host this set which traverses his fast paced sound.

Mode_1 is next on our ongoing mix series, a man with experience. He is an Irish dj/producer from the city of Dublin who has put out numerous EP's on labels such as Knotweed Records and Fiedeltwo, while also being a resident at Subject Dublin and District 8. 

We asked him a while back to make a mix for us and we are not dissapointed. Enjoy an hour of stellar mixing, good selection and groove.

Ahead of his appearance at our FOLD X Mord 14 hour event Charlton has provided us with an exclusive mix showcasing what you can expect on the 4th of December.

With over 20 years in the game, @charlton010 is no stranger to the dance floor, frequently appearing in booths across Europe. His raw, hardcore sound is heavily influenced by his time spent in London, Berlin and his hometown Rotterdam, is infamous for its acid-infused, synth-laden components. 

Joining him on the lineup are @bas-mooy , @lemmiwinks , @shxcxchcxsh (Live), @andromedaldn , @7xins (Live), @anabelarroyo and @UVB .

This May, we bought our Community Connections series to Paris, following previous editions in Los Angeles and Lisbon. The series brings our features, podcast and films into the real world through a number of community-based events focusing on vital local artists, collectives, promoters and venues pushing the scene forward.
