Mary Yuzovskaya’s vinyl-only Monday Off imprint readies a four track release featuring atmospheric cuts from herself, Craft, Michał Wolski and Soramimi. Launched in 2017, this is the third instalment in Monday Off’s various artist releases and Yuzovskaya’s second appearance on her own label.

Debuting on Monday Off, Brooklyn’s Craft provides an otherworldly number entitled ‘Pursuit Of Passage’, which comprises sawing synths, rattling percussion and soaring pads. Following that, much like Yuzovskaya’s deep and trippy performances ‘Basia’ is ethereal from start to finish and comes complete with murky sub-bass and trailing echoes. On the flip, having appeared on two previous releases Polish producer Michał Wolski and NYC’s Soramimi return to the label. With its syncopated rhythm, metallic features and overall ominous aesthetic, Wolski’s ‘Morph’ is wonky business from the off. Tying it all together, Dusk Notes co-founder Soramimi demonstrates her sound design expertise with the mesmerizing ‘Diatoms’ – masterfully blending intricate layers of oscillating tones, reverberations and whirring effects.

Unfortunately there isn’t much to celebrate these days but hopefully this can bring a smile to your face and give you the necessary energy to get through the coming days.

Mind benders, acid trips, tribal grooves and anything in between… Tracks that had been sleeping until now waiting for their moment. They couldn’t just sit there unshared and unused forever.

With this release I would like to take the chance to send positive vibes to all the people working hard to help everyone in need in times like these. Also sending good health to everyone affected by this pandemic. We will get over it, all together!

Digital release number twenty in the No Way home entrusted to Martyn Päsch with an ep entitled Udaipur. The track that gives its name to the ep is a refined composition that skilfully combines a precise rhythm with circular and harmonious arrangements. Agra, on the other hand, stands out for its nocturnal reflections marked by elusive dub echoes. The two originals are reworked by two remixers, Aquiver gives Udaipur a darker and deeper connotation, while Infinity transforms the nebulous atmospheres of Agra into pure hypnotic and pressing techno.

In his own words he tries to awake emotions with complex textures and atmospheres that are one of the signatures in his music. Dj Datch - Diary of my Misanthropy (Incl. Steve Parker And Ruhig Remixes) [NWRV004]

After the ep Atlantis released in 2019, the producer Dj Datch returns to No Way Records with Diary of my Misanthropy. The ep consists of two original and two remixes entrusted to the expert hands of Steve Parker and Ruhig. The song that gives the EP its name is pure plastic and monolithic techno, where a hypnotic bassline wraps itself sinuously around a martial and pressing rhythm. Steve Parker reinterprets Diary of my Misanthropy giving it less dark shades while preserving the hypnotic ecstasy of the original intact. The nocturnal atmospheres characterize Decompression, according to the original of the ep, where a pad of Morodian memory accompanies a dusty drum machine. Ruhig's remix is ​​an overwhelming surf on the sine waves of an electronic ocean. Diary of my Misanthropy will be available both on vinyl and digitally.
