Glasgow-based @miltonjackson (real name Barry Christie) released his first EP aged 18 on @tronicsole way back in 2001. An album for @glasgowunderground entitled "The Bionic Boy" was released in 2001. 
Romanthony was such a big fan of the 3rd single ‘Dimensional’ that he asked to remix it, a huge honour for Milton.
After the success of "Bionic Boy" and the accompanying live tour (taking in venues like @rexclub in Paris), EPs were completed for the likes of Black Vinyl, Bear Trax (Milton’s own label) and Omid 16B’s Alola (@sexonwax). Milton even worked with a young Mylo on their ‘Pretty Boys’ project. 
In 2006 a new relationship was formed with @jimpster’s @freerangerecords and saw collaborations with fellow deep house don @shurikan. 
2009 was topped off with a win in the DJ Awards in the Deep House category. Milton picked up his award at Pacha in Ibiza alongside the likes of @petetong, @lucianocadenza and Sven Vath. 
Moving into the 2010s Milton remixed Recloose for Carl Craig’s (@planetedetroit) Planet E and turned in big remixes for Joey Negro’s (@daveleezr) Z Records, 8 Bit and Jef K’s hit “In My System” on Silver Network. He also released "Breathe" on Neurotraxx records.
A new collaboration with Munich’s SHOW-B called “Pattern Select” saw the pair release a critically acclaimed EP on @delusionsofgrandeur and a remix for @huxley_uk imprint @saints-n-sonnets. 
2012 saw no let up for Milton as he continued to DJ worldwide and release for Freerange (new track DSI), @tsuba vinyl imprint and Black Key Records. 
2013 saw Milton take a break from house music after the birth of his children and after an 18 month layoff he returned to Kevin Griffiths’ Tsuba label with his ‘Your Love’ EP. Your love received many plaudits with @traxsource claiming: "Milton Jackson returns and it’s worth the wait!" 
Milton also recorded a special track for Freerange’s 20th anniversary boxset release called "Songs Without Words".
In 2020, 20 years after his first release Milton is still releasing quality EPs - a new 4 tracker for @rawax-chiwax-housewax imprint Housewax was released, plus he has been recording further material with his old partner in music, Shur-i-kan and @matt-masters plus a new solo EP for Freerange.
Overall throughout his career Milton has around 60 releases to his name, 2 albums and notched up over 100 remixes, not to mention appearing on hundreds of compilations around the world.

The curation explodes into action with a no nonsense opening and streamlines through an intergalactic blend of idm, electronica, breaks and everything in between. The girls offer a fine pallet of versatility and showcase their eclectic taste remarkably throughout the duration of the mix with super selections and classy mixing.

Opening phase 3 of the RCU, the Reptilian Mix 07 introduces rising star @tau-car, already quite famous in the Neuköllnywood underground art-house scene. She is now stepping under the World Wide Web projector lights for reptilian connoisseurs' uppermost enjoyment. 

Indeed, Car has experienced her share of life-changing party experiences, to a point she had to answer the call of Jane Gain™ and started to ride those transitions as if her life was depending on it. Relentlessly practicing, she started deep diving into minimal / tech-house, funky club-house, and electroclash to create her distinctive sound showcased in this mix. Her ability to select and play records is only equaled by her love towards Renéchou, her dogtilian son, adding a new member to the reptilian bestiary.

She is the closest crew member imaginable and we are more than proud to feature her first mix in the series.

I will say that this is probably the finest collection of tracks I’ve ever found. It’s the mix that once literally brought me to tears.
In 2003, I wrote:

“whenever i set up to record a house mix, there are inevitably a few records that must get left out, mostly because they are too deep, time doesn’t permit and don’t fit with the rest of the mix. here are those neglected babies, crying out for empathy. this is not peaktime music! one wednesday night i turned down the lights in the studio almost to the point where it was pitch black in the room, turned up the system real loud, and absolutely got lost in it. in today’s depressed music industry, the beautiful and intelligent tracks get left out, replaced by candy coated bullshit. the artists represented here have obviously recorded these soulful gems for the love. they were released between 2002 and 2003, largely under the radar.”

It was over two years since my last visit to Watergate in Berlin, which is a long time to be away from such an inspirational club for me.  I love feeding off the energy that is all around you in Berlin. Unlike so many of my contemporaries I have never lived there so I have never grown jaded or complacent about the city.  It truly is a special place and I always come away inspired, especially if I have ended up at Panorama Bar on Sunday (which I did this time - thanks Dixon).

I was picked up at the airport by an artist from Montenegro, who showed me his art while we drove into town.  He then got lost for an hour trying to find the hotel - Only in Berlin.

This time was my first ever session on the Waterfloor and the Channel Zoo guys were kind enough to give me the sunrise set from 0400 - 0600. The sun was coming up in the last half hour and the moment deserved Blaze - Lovelee Dae as the it finally broke over the buildings and glistened on the ripples of the River Spree.  

Many thanks to Graeme and Louie from Channel Zoo and Uli, Henrik, Frank and Ron from Watergate for allowing and recording the mix.
