2021 is halfway over, and it's already been a year that's testing me as a person. "Counter Espionage" is a song bred from that stress, angrier sounding than my previous works. Medical issues, creative blocks and troubles... i decided to do something positive with it, and write angry.

I've been wanting to make phonk for a long time now. It finally clicked a few weeks ago, and I laid out this song in a few hours. Everything fell in as I wanted to, all the samples slapped, and every synth fit perfectly.

It's my first attempt at making a future bass type song, and I really liked making it. It allowed me to add my own ambient styles to it, and still create something that sounded good.

Welcome to Whispers/Visions.

Creating this album has been a multi-month project for me, starting way back in September when I first conceptualized the names and all. I wanted to build songs based on parts of the album art, hence "Planetary Shield" and "Vision Nebula", but Whispers and Visions were the original names for the album and songs.

Enjoy this mix of Future Bass, Chillout, and Ambient. I loved making it, and I hope you love listening to it!

Downloads are open, and these songs will eventually make it to Bandcamp for high-quality "pay what you want" formats!

This is my remix of Sword Of Omen's song "Butterfree". It is an 8-bit type of song, and oh my gosh is it amazing. Sword Of Omen's happens to be one of my best friends, and I had to remix this song. He was extremely helpful in reminding me to finish it, and I'm not being sarcastic buddy, you really did help me remember!

Finally putting out some new content. I know it's short, but I liked working on this one. Got the free version of Reaktor 5 and some free plugins they had for it from Native Instruments, so I had some fun experimenting around with this song.

Just some calmer ambience with some lighter, but intense, percussion.

Another one early on in quarantine. Driving places was absolutely wild, the freeways around my city were usually packed all the time. But they were empty, and they were freeing. Driving was a small release from the world.

Towards the end of 2020, things have been getting bad again, and I've been really feeling it; both for myself, and for the world. I think this song captures that feeling.

Special thanks to my good friend Matt Panebianco for supplying the guitar work at the end. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to work with some spaced out reverb heavy guitar, and he made that dream a reality.
