I am a vessel. A muffled mass. A bulk. Extent. A womb. I move. So I am neither here nor there. Always somewhere in between. To give substance to this frame, I carve out a piece of me. Sometimes a shape, sometimes a form. Into this space I pour what besieges me: words, pictures, you. So we can become me. Viscosity and temperature dictate the time it takes. When it is done, I break the mold I am. I take the cast inside and place it by the others.

That is when it starts tormenting me. It gives a face to the unsaid and an empire to what I could not bury. It now has a weight and a consistency I can no longer avoid. Still eager to escape, I turn my back on it and hobble ineptly away. But the space it has left within my frame begins to throb. It flickers, moans and aches. It chars. I can sometimes ignore what's there, but I can never hide from what’s gone. So I run. (Text: Fred Aerden)

Requiem is a collaborative by rip ME (audio, @restinpeace_me) and Madeleine Andersson (video) incorporating material from 17 artists, released on USB and as a digital album available on Bandcamp.

The USB release is organized in a system of folders, with one folder containing the musical contributions with an encouragement for others to make their own versions of the piece.

@djhristos is the arcane doppelgänger of Berlin-based producer, DJ, and queer activist Ion Hristu, affiliated to the @soul_feeder crew and record label where his debut mixtape was released. Reportedly "conceived on the day of Orthodox Easter" 2019, the DJ Hristos musical project bridges present-days electronic music and fast dancefloor genres together with Romanian influences, as well as cutting-edge post-Internet underground culture with a mischievous sense of humor.

Imagine trance and hardcore techno blended with donk and lolicore's typical off-beat frenzy, then dismantled in a contemporary, hybrid club framework, all finally wrapped up on the set of a kinky post-furry opera. Next, add to the mix the staggering, untamable will of a supernatural magickal entity, and then you'd be close enough to a description of DJ Hristos' music.

We're so glad to present our latest mix recorded by DJ Hristos, featuring a rich tracklist of ballroom bangers, dark dungeon synth litanies, schizo breakcore and donk edits, as well as a crazy unreleased track by @dj_ghepard and @lamb-kebab-blt that will soon surface on Soul Feeder. GUESTMIX#68 is complete with an on-point artwork by the digital visual artist sleeepdealer [https://instagram.com/sleeepdealer/].
