In partnership with CHANEL, i-D have launched Intangible Matter, an immersive online experience created by Lucy Hardcastle for The Fifth Sense inspired by CHANEL Nº5 L'eau.   

To complement the interactive space, a soundtrack called “Xiaoya · Blossoming Flowers  / 小雅·裳裳者华” has been created by producer @Fatima-Al-Qadiri featuring @Li-Yuchun (Chris Lee). The song name refers to a poem from The Book of Odes, China’s oldest collection of verses and a mainstay of traditional Chinese education, reinterpreted here for a new generation.  
   
Working together for the first time through remote recording, Fatima and Li each bring their unique take and experience to the project: Fatima Al Qadiri is a widely celebrated producer and visual artist, whilst Li Yuchun is one of China’s most iconic singing superstars and a fashion stalwart.

Channeling humanity's desire for transformation via annihilation, DEBBY FRIDAY returns with her second EP and what she calls a "rock-and-roll revival." With boisterous vocals, industrial flavour and cacophonous production, the sound of 'DEATH DRIVE' is loud and electric; broadcasting a message of grief and salvation. FATAL is the ep's first single, a hypnotic number about a karmic and inevitable attraction. Written in the summer of 2018, Friday states: "it is about the great and terrible power of love to destroy us, swallow us whole and birth us anew. Passion becomes revenge becomes grace becomes shame becomes fury becomes fuel becomes push becomes pull becomes release."
