The Science of Sound is a storytelling journey shaped by ethereal techno with touches of progressive house. It is inspired by Steyoyoke, the Berlin label I have admired since my adult years, and by the vision of Soul Button, the creator of the ethereal techno genre. His work, along with the incredible artistry of Monarke, EarthLife, Nick Devon and many others on the label, has guided and inspired me deeply.

This set reflects my own path through music and life. It carries moments of suffering, happiness, euphoria ,breakdown and healing flowing like a story that connects sound with emotion. Each track was chosen with care to mirror feelings that words often cannot capture.

The Science of Sound is my way of showing gratitude to Steyoyoke and to the artists who continue to shape this sound from Berlin to the world. It is a tribute to the music that has inspired me and a reflection of my journey within it.

Tharat steps into the HABITAT EXPLORER series with a mix that feels both personal and daring, weaving together unreleased tracks and newly reimagined edits. Known for his emotive yet driving productions, the Barcelona based DJ and Producer has been steadily carving out a place in the underground with music that balances raw intensity and melodic subtlety. His recent release Children captured that duality perfectly, and this mix pushes the vision even further. With his debut at HABITAT Paris on the horizon this November, Tharat sets the tone for what promises to be an exciting new chapter.
