This 2-tracker contains a unbelievably deep signature remix by our man Shahrokh Dini, which is making waves already for a while now! Michael Marshelli convinces with a cosmic lush disco approach, giving the original’s smooth vocal the right treat.

The Düsseldorf duo BAR, consisting of Stabil Elite musician Lucas Croon and Christina Irrgang, released their debut album „Welcome To Bar“, a musical hybrid between New Wave, Balearic, Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Noir Songwriting, in June 2014 on Italic Recordings. Lucas Croon sings as if he had studied with Nick Cave, Brian Ferry and Chris Isaac. The lady at his side, Christina Irrgang, is no less elegant: Her timbre seems completely absorbed in the music, and yet it somehow floats above it, bold and cool. The effect is reminiscent of Claudia Brücken from the Düsseldorf synthpop band Propaganda, whose magical coldness was simply an extremely fascinating form of white soul.

"Welcome to BAR" is recorded, produced and emotionally arranged on various synthesizers, the drums, with film soundtrack samples, vocal collages and instruments such as the pocket piano, which Croon and Irrgang became aware of in Los Angeles through their acquaintance with Diva Dompé, the daughter of Bauhaus drummer Kevin Haskins. Passion can be felt in everything they say, sing and play. Passion for love, for nights in a neon glow, for dark pulsating bass lines, black and white romance, driving synth beats and the affectionately playful "À Rebours" – aestheticism with no objection to the natural.

LANDSIDE 

Landside is the  debut collaboration between Italian producers Hunter/Game and the Icelandic band Kúra.
The sound draws as much from the deep vibe and  melancholy ambience of Kúraʼs  reflective, dubby moods, as the more insistent groove of Hunter/Game's dancefloor roots.
Fanney Osk 's vocals  are like clear warm breath in a cold mountain breeze.  
Vibrating  waves are set against synths and melodic leads that break the languid feel like the arrival of an intense storm.

In this first remix EP, two wildly different producers offer up their own original takes.   
Max Cooper's remix is as gorgeous and melodic as always, setting Fanney's vocals floating over a sea of warm synth work and surprisingly driving percussion.  Benjamin  Damage, meanwhile, fires hard into the dancefloor, digging  a channel of tough grooves  within the ambient melodies and mellow vocals.

​Norwegian newcomer Gundelach’s debut single comes in the form of the the soulful Spiders. Fans of Movement take note, Gundelach makes music in a similar vein. With his debut EP being released early next year we are now treated to an exclusive bit of remix action from the project. Fellow Nordic resident Finnebassen takes the track and injects an extra layer of drums and soft synth pads to craft together beautiful piece of late night melancholy. Hit play.

At the controls for Ira Atari's album, collaborational efforts with Egotronic and Plemo, several compilation features and remixes for artists like Conjure One, pandoras.box, Bratze, Supershirt, Kidstreet and others under his belt plus remarkable solo tracks on both volumes of our „Stiff Little Spinners“ series show that this man is driven by force. And so does „Sonne, Park und Sterni“ which is a sweet, melodic trip into the realms of positive TechHouse vibes, serving a seductive leitmotif and thrilling, cut-up vocal wizzardry adding a bit of extra spice to the playful loveliness that is surely influenced by Berlin's vibrant open air rave movement.
