The Electrifying Mojo (Roman Flügel Remix)

During writing process of this track I started using sample vocals. I suddenly heard the sentence „Don’t Get High“, which wasn’t actually being said but I still thought I heard it. That’s exactly how club impressions are: you sing along to melodies and lyrics that your own mind produces. I had a laugh at that so I had to give the song the name. 
Then, I devoted myself to the music to give the pictured ‘HIGH‘ all its beautiful, wild sides, to demand everything from the struggle between the ironic lyrics and the uncompromising music. The result is a wild jumble of musical quotes and sounds knitted together to form a novel path and my bouncing arm was not permitted to sink down for a second. Under this premise I mixed the track and we shot a crazy video with 15 friends inside a cramped toilet. 
In fact, in a place you wouldn’t think to freak out to music, we had the rudest toilet rave. It was the most positive way of a collective ventilation. We danced 4 hours and gave everything, 15 people left the white-tiled room with flush red faces, happy and high from just dancing. Obviously we weren’t able to fulfil the lyrical prophecy.

Reinier Zonneveld is back, and this time with vocalist Simone White, where they deliver a nostalgic number with melancholic melodies and lush vocals. Shuffling drums ensure that things groove along nicely and subtle arpeggiated synths add the classy details. Roberto Capuano's mix is up next, with rumbling bass setting the tone and major use of the original's synth work. Taster Peter comes up with a slightly dubbier approach while retaining the melodic elements and the last remix of the package offers suspenseful drum rolls and quirky electronics.

'Signs' will come fully equipped not only with a stunning video directed by Ry X and Constantin Demner, but an arsenal of remixes from Kalabrese, Rødhåd and Radioslave (who also turn in a mix from their other guise Matom) to be released on white label early March.

International Deejay Gigolo Records presents its second remix package from the single “I Want U” of label boss DJ Hell. The original get´s a new twist with the reinterpretation of Darren Emerson. His own view on the track has a high intense energy and a pumping upfront attitude. French techno head The Hacker reworks his own remix and gives it a dark & playful 2018 facelift.
