One day I will make a Film on the Camino de Santiago. The deep inner journeys of a group seemingly different characters.

In the meantime, this guitar gives me a place to start.

I recorded this as a deeply reflective piece and in some fashion it is the title track to the Soul Biographies endeavor.

This when looped seems somewhat hypnotic in nature. Recorded for a film yet to be released. I took the photograph from a boat on the way to Molokai.

The Otherside Of Darkness

I often just start playing with no idea where to go. This afternoon I restrung the guitar and this is where I went. One track, one take. Kind of thing I play to the kids at bedtime.

I recently discovered a piece I recorded an age ago. But never used on a Soul Biography. That situation has now changed.

The Invitation

Just changed the strings. Recorded this. A minute in which to dream New Year dreams.

To Dream

Recorded 26 December 2017. In Dm9 tuning.

The track is named after the late Canadian Guitarist Michael Waters. It was he who first introduced me to this dreamlike tuning. As we sat each early morning in Hollyhock (Cortes Island, British Colombia, Canada) playing guitar and speaking of how unfathomable life really is.

We of course played exclusively in Dm9 (DADFAE).
