Autumn Leaves Deep Fall

Clearly a song about rejection and reminiscing 'Once In A Lifetime' by Talking Heads.
It was written, I suppose, in under 3 minutes, just poured out of me as I was strumming my go-to chords C Am Em G in my go-to-picking. It helps me think, helps me sing, helps me cope. 
Since I have been recovering my vocal chords from a serious problem many singers are familiar with and dread - it may end in an operation - my voice yoga audibly has not yet achieved the healing I wish for. But I cannot stop singing, no matter how croaky. 
And then I even invited the Berlin bear for humming from a deep well.

Voices. - Sadly, my SoundCloud account got corrupted (admittedly by SoundCloud and by mistake), after many years on this platform as a paying artist. Sadly, too, I received little to no support from SoundCloud about this in the days that followed. When finally even my contacts were deleted, I decided to cancel this account and leave it as the corpse it is now. Just another corpse, like MySpace.  Rotting. 

'BERLIN-Group for Handmade Unsigned Music' remains up here, to honour the ones who participated with fascinating and inspiring contributions.

Among the numerous people and projects I followed here, are a few ones that come to mind right now and I'd like to point you to:

First off, the ones I collaborated with - such as Leander Reininghaus, Synthasis/Andreas von Garnier, P/T/S/D aka Curehead40 and the incredible Nikea Bustla, then the ones I just hold in high regard as both musicians and people: 
MyNameIsDerek - Dubliner Derek Murphy's current project; there is life after punk, obviously. 
Gimaldin - a versatile artist and musician from Iceland.
Gwendal - aka Tavedek on Youtube and Gwinardant - a fine Breton artist and musician stuck in Sweden and in some canvas, I assume.
Geigerzähler - if you want the true, pure "Arm aber Sexy"-Berlin feeling plus a blend of indie-antifa and social awareness, sprinkled with a tad of Brecht, listen in at Geigerzähler, a passionate violin player and singer/narrator with a cause.
Good Natured Threat with Mark & Lara Hjorthoy, mostly chill-out trip-hoppy, electronica with cool atmospheres from Canada - watch out, Mark's also got a radio programme going, presenting others in a similar league of excellence!
There are others I'm going to miss,

and the less well-known but worth booking You're Only Massive, also from Ireland, like Windings and, as a special hint, the mysterious account owner Icancreate, who else...wait...there is 
American Reba Hasko and her wonderful, wonderful voice, 
there is the Australian pianist, composer and song-writer Paul Hankinson, here probably found under Montmorensy,

NIC-D'EA

is a solo vocalist, exploring all sorts of sound realms from folk and mediaeval music over goth, wave, pop, rock, metal to avant garde, frequently working with experimental musicians such as 
Leander Reininghaus, Andreas Stollenz aka Froyd, Massimo Nicoletti und Andreas v. Garnier. 

Her focus is impro composition, quick lyric writing in various languages, invocations and meditative song, vocal layers and loops, yet at the same time she keeps writing songs on her guitar every day, following the path of singer-songwriter tradition in her very own voice and style - so currently is working on both, an acoustic and a loop-programme. 
Studio recordings are upcoming, yet time is scarce, so no idea yet when to announce a publication. Keep an eye on http://nic-dea.bandcamp.com/

In March 2007 she established a collaboration of international musicians (Ireland, UK, Germany, Canada, America) to save the Hill of Tara in Ireland as a World Heritage Site, since endangered by a major road project. 
The courageous activists on site, who stayed 24/7 to protect the culturally and spiritually (yes!) important grounds, failed - and as it is, the corrupt Irish government's bulldozers seem to have won, for now... but the songs ("Songs For The Unsung") remain. Many artists gathered for Tara in that year: There are two other great CD-projects, one of them involving Liam Ó'Maonlaí (->Hothouse Flowers) and the renowned harper and Tara-activist Laoise Kelly. Previously available for download from Outersounds.ie with the money going directly to the protesters on site, the SONGS FOR THE UNSUNG will be made available from BANDCAMP again soon; any earnings from sales shall then go to the Irish druid community at Tara. Yes, there are some, and they were actively involved in the fight in 2007.  - http://uk.myspace.com/taravigilcampcd is an abandoned web-corpse today, but still may offer an impression or traces...
