Tsemekwes is the solo project of Nic Niggemeyer, a musician of Lhaqtemish, Piegan, and Irish descent; it's the traditional name of the entity called "Sasquatch" in Xwlemi'chosen, their maternal ancestral language. Part of the project is some compulsive artistic emotional processing, and part of it is born out of a desire to start writing some music in Xwlemi'chosen, which is still under works
