Jodie Kearley - Why

Hello there. I'm Nic Sleight, a 26 year old London based drummer. I've been playing for almost 10 years and regurlarly gigging for about 5 years, mostly around the London scene.
I studied for 2 years the London Centre of Contemporary Music (LCCM) and prior to that a year at Drumtech. I've benfited from being taught by some great teachers and musicians, including Pete Zeldman (Steve Vai, drum wizard), Toby Baker (Alexander O'Neal, Eric Clapton), Bryan McClellan (Vega4, Tape the Radio), Rich Brooks (Tinchy Stryder, Sugababes) and Richie Stevens (Keziah Jones, Joss Stone).
Over the past few years I have been performing with various groups and artists in styles ranging from pop &amp; rock to jazz &amp; folk to funk &amp; blues, and some of the many venues include a 15 date residency at the Troubadour, The Borderline, China Whites, The Hope &amp; Anchor, The Half Moon and The 100 Club to name a few. I have also been fortunate enough to play at Weyfest and the Isle of Wight festival in this time as well, and again just to name a few.
The tracks I have included of this page are examples of a few of the people and groups that I have recorded &amp; played for.
