The morning in Nosara, Costa Rica brings out these cheeky opportunists, exploring the roads and restaurants for an morsel. Their song and calls are typical of other jays but this guy is one of the best.

These amazing beautiful little beings are Laysan Albatross recorded on Midway Island in the Pacific Ocean. On this island, one of the remotest on our planet, an indescribable environmental tragedy is taking place, with plastic from the Pacific Garbage Patch literally killing tens of thousands of these precious baby albatrosses every year. Please share this recording and spread the word. Please share this recording far and wide. Always remember to dispose of plastic carefully, do not use plastic bags, recycle all plastic. We cannot allow our planet to become a dump.

I was doing som office work today while listening back to my long recording from last week, and though I'd share this part where an animal passes by my microphones and seems to drink water... It's about 20 seconds in. 
I saw deer when I went to set up but there's also badgers and fox living there so I guess it could be either.
This was recorded around 4 AM with LOM Audio Usi pros in AB 40 into a Sony PCM D 100
