This version was done in Trinidad in the rain forrest a few years ago with my good friend Niel Richmond who worked for many years as a recording engineer and producer. It has a strong beat and heavy metal rock chorus with an underlying funeral march beat.

This is another version of Candy song. It was an acoustic Jam with Rich. I have added some orchestration. I like the sombre mood and the unexpected sonic meandering on the fretboard.You can also hear the sea in the background!

Shine Mix 01

Never been able to record myself till I bought a Mac pro and TC sound card. Loving the total control. The Candy song was recorded in Trinidad with my friend who is a past master producer but I like the outcome of the jam version which was recorded on a Zoom 4 track, hence the sea in the background which is outside my window! The sombre orchestration and guitar was added in logic. The Spirit surfing mix is a guitar doodle which I used to play to the horizon out in the middle of the Atlantic ocean to entertain my self and meditate. I was on a small yacht! The few words at the end came to me recently and seemed to express what was on my mind at that time. The blues is a jam with my friend Rich on guitar and me on piano. Good jams are often not recorded so I was pleased I had remembered to press the button!
