ECHLN gives a new lease of life to music coming out from South Africa. Born in Pretoria and now living in Cape Town, the sound engineer and producer, who lists Pharrell and Chad Hugo as his key inspirations, describes his sound as “something you’d hear from LA...more of an international sound with my own twist.”

This personal twist lends an edgy take to the revered west coast sound that is reflected in his latest 4 track EP, SWAY. You hear his thoughts out loud as he cleverly joins the dots between house, funk, hip-hop, soul, with the percussive and rhythm very reminiscent of The Neptunes.
