This Recline Music  release opens with Nicco .'s original version of 'It's Over', teaming up with Australian vocalist Carrol to deliver a dropped tempo house cut, infused with bright melodic intricacies, a hooky bass-line and infectiously catchy vocal licks that softly meander around the weighty groove.
Suara and Tsuba artist, Oxia steps up on remix duties next, edging the record into a shuffling house state with raw, swung drums, a sub-driven, garage-tinged bass hook and dubbed-out synth lines. The French producer heavily manipulates minute vocal chops with elongated delays and drawn out reverbs instilling a trippy edge, as expected this is serious peak-time business with dark atmospherics. Next up is Memoryman aka Uovo's rework of 'It's Over', better known as Cristiano Rinaldi and as a member of the Pastaboys trio. Rinaldi creates an ethereal, melodic vibe here with bubbling earthy percussion, rolling organ hits and ever evolving synth lines, running alongside crunchy distorted drums. This is a tasteful and intelligent approach from Rinaldi and beautifully contrasting against the preceding tracks.
To close the release Recline enlist the services of another remix artist, this time Timid Boy aka Damien Almira, notably know for his Escapism, Dame and Baracca Music associations. Almira puts a deep spin on the original number with warm chords, delayed vocal snippets and a cosseting sub-bass that brilliantly flutters around the drums. Subtle filter licks and reverb bursts add a further depth and impact to the structure, resulting in a perfect early-hours cut.

Nicco ( Niccolo' Detti ) ; Begins as a young singer/guitarist/composer towards
the end of the 80's fiorentine underground music scene. His underground studio is often visited by some of the best bands of the time such as Pankow and the Neon. Eclettic producer DJ and musician in 2008 he founded his label Recline Music.His talent is reflected in numerous productions, doing collaborations with artists like Oxia ,Mic Newman , Jordan Peak ,Someone Else , Audiofly x , Acumen , Timid Boy , Veitengruber and many others . Nicco has been actively progressing as an artist over the past few years with material found on imprints such as BlaBla, Resopal Schallware , Street King , Toolroom, Balance and featured on Danny Howells ‘Balance Music 024’ compilation. These associations and recent support stands testament to Nicco’s undeniable ability to craft groove-led house tracks with a functional dance floor appeal.

As ever, Nicco’ mixing is impeccable throughout – unnoticeable in its harmony and subtlety, each track taking on a piece of the previous one, like relay runners passing on the baton. Putting together this mix was not simply a case of sitting in a room sifting through a load of tracks. His travels and experiences of recent years are all filtered into it, with manifold inspirations distilled therein. Oxia steps up on remix duties next, edging the record into a shuffling house state with raw, swung drums, a sub-driven, garage-tinged bass hook and dubbed-out synth lines. The French producer heavily manipulates minute vocal chops with elongated delays and drawn out reverbs instilling a trippy edge, as expected this is serious peak-time business with dark atmospherics

Nicco (N.D) started making music at an early age in his native Florence towards the end of the eighties. He played guitar and sang in various groups active at that time in Florence's underground new wave scene while beginning to take an interest in how electronic music was evolving. His basement became a landmark for many musicians, frequented by members of some of the best groups of the time, such as Pankow. Besides performing as singer and guitarist in his own groups, Nicco also began performing as a DJ around Florence. Towards half/end of the nineties he began producing house music .In 2008 he launched his Recline Music label, which became an international landmark for fans of the genre. His talent gave rise to numerous productions and collaborations with artists of the caliber of DJ t. ,Oxia , Markus Fix , James Teej , Clarian ,Javonntte and many others. His piece "It's Over Oxia Remix" was included by Danny Howells in his "Balance Music 024" compilation and in another from Toolroom Records. His tracks have been played by the greatest DJs in the world. His remix of 'Southern Sun' was extensively played by Marco Carola, who used it as a base for promoting some of his shows; Carola also included Nicco's piece 'Disco Bitch' remixed by Aldo Cadiz in his essential mix for Pete Tong's BBC show. Joris Voorn included Nicco’s track ‘House Riff’ in his Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1. Nicco has released over 100 records (many on vinyl) on his labels Recline Music and on labels of the caliber of Culprit LA and many others. His last 2020 Culprit LA EP 'Moog Driver' was charted and played by artists such as Steve Bug and Hernan Cattaneo. While his sets are strictly house music, the influence that post punk new wave has had on his musical formation can be heard
