dr. Bass + vicelikemiami is searching for the sound of its home city. By combining tight production and samples with organic performances from players of all genres, dB+vlm (Indianapolis) creates a truly all-encompassing sound that features soaring vocals, ripping solos, rich orchestral and electronic textures, and foot-stomping beats. dB+vlm's first offering of original music, EP1 (April 2014) resembles the best of alternative dance, recalling artists such as Gorillaz, T.V. on the Radio, Pharrell Williams, Diplo, Bonobo, and the Foreign Exchange while injecting heavy doses of powerful soul, hip-hop, rock, classical, and jazz.
