As a prominent figure in the 1980s with his groundbreaking Acid House and Hip House hits, Tyree Cooper remains an unquestionably influential force in the music industry. Tyree Cooper stands as an unquestionable legend and pioneer in the first Global House music revolution that ignited in Chicago. His unparalleled contributions to House Music and Acid House have solidified his status as a monumental figure within the genre. By co-creating Hip House with The DJ Fast Eddie, Cooper broadened House music's global appeal, establishing his influence as one of the most impactful artists of the last three decades. In Chicago, he reigned supreme, DJing alongside icons such as Ron Hardy, Mike Dunn, and Gene Hunt. As the first house artist to grace Dance Party USA and a regular on stations like WGCI, B96, and Evo Sonic in Europe, Cooper's UK Top 20 success led to a celebrated appearance on the BBC's Top of the Pops with Kool Rock Steady.

Continuing to electrify and inspire audiences worldwide, Cooper's performances have graced major events such as Glastonbury Festival, Amsterdam Dance Event, DJoon Paris, Babel Sao Paulo, Summer Dance Chicago, and ClockStock Festival. In collaboration with Bobby Starrr, he hosts the esteemed E-Man-Ci-Pate events at Tresor club in Berlin. Since 2021, Cooper has also captivated fans with regular live DJ sets on his Twitch channel.

Cooper's journey began on the South Side of Chicago, where he was influenced by the likes of Farley Jackmaster Funk, The Hot Mix 5, Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles, and his family's eclectic music collection. Under the guidance of Vince Lawrence of Jesse’s Gang, Cooper crafted a demo tape that launched his career with a record deal from the iconic D.J. International Records. His debut track "I Fear The Night" became an underground classic, followed by anthems like "Turn Up The Bass" and "Let the Music Take Control." Cooper's legacy endures with the founding of his own label, Chicago Vinyl Records, in 2013, where he continues to produce and release music on both digital and vinyl formats, steadfastly adhering to the essence of House.

Beatport Music Awards Winners 2012 - Best Tech House track: NiCe7 – Point (Gruuv Rec)-
Nicola Daniele and Cesare Marocco – aka NiCe7 – are not new in the worldwide Tech
House scene with over a decade of activity and a good number of high topping charts
releases, remixes and collaborations.
Deep House is another realm where they have succeeded in with their popular “Back to
Basics” EP and then scoring a chart-topping hit with their remix of Jon Cutler’s “It’s
Yours”, both released on Noir Music. That year they also founded their own record label DFloor,
an imprint dedicated to “credible and forward-thinking outputs.”
Since 2005, the year the two paired up, they NiCe7 have released on a great number of
highly respected and renowned underground labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Defected,
Snatch!, Noir Music, Get Physical, Gruuv and Mother to name only a few, always crafting
dance floor bombs for whoever calls on their services and with collaborations/remixes to and
from the likes of Claude VonStroke, Terranova, Steve Bug, Claptone, Romanthony, Riva
Starr, Artbat, Luke Solomon, Audiojack, Luna City Express, Argy, Pirupa, Latmun,
Tiger Stripes, Carlo Lio, Dario D’Attis, Jon Cutler and Dirty Channels among others.
They also mixed the infamous “Defected Miami” compilation back in 2014 and same year
have been guests at Pete Tong’s BBC Radio1 show under his “Future Stars” feature.
Always managing to stimulate great reactions and vibes to the crowds they play to thanks to
their inimitable DJ style mixing up all styles from techy to darker to funkier, this pair
performed at the liks of Cocorico’ in Riccione, Output in NY, Space Ibiza, Watergate in
Berlin, Ministry of Sound London among other in addition to their already-impressive
history of festivals and clubs appearances all over the world.
Keep an eye on this eclectic and unpredictable duo, more interesting releases are lined up
for what’s looking to be one of their most interesting music years to date!
