G.Roy, aka Galen Conroy, is pleased to release this collaboration with Andrew Duke on Nice & Nasty as a transatlantic sonic adventure. Andrew has been part of the Nice & Nasty family since 2009 working, remixing for both N&N and DXR whilst prolifically dropping sonic bombs on the likes of Colour & Pitch, Bombis, BBE, Ibiza Boys and more, collaborating remixing and being remixed by K-Hand, Claude Young, Orlando Voorn and more.

G.Roy's background as a jazz musician, turned House artist, informs this EP with
smart piano grooves, solid drum programming, and subtle sampling. Previously releasing tunes on LW, Moodyhouse, SOulRise and more, G.Roy is an accomplished music maker. Most recently, Galen has begun releasing pop co-writes under his real name, drawing on his own
deep musical background, teaming up with talented singers but his love for deep, underground grooves shines through on this ep with Andy.

Andrew Duke has been releasing music and remixes with Galen for a few years now forging a mature funky homage to Old School house and Detroit techno. Reading the collaboration Andy has been doing this past two decades its no surprise that he tips his hat to the pioneers, the old school.

Transatlantic Tourist EP by G.Roy and Andrew Duke is a both refreshing homage to the pioneers of House music and a wonderful modern twist of deep grooves, fascinating rhythms and funk, machine funk! With subtle undertones of Detroit Techno and Chicago House, Galen and Andy drop four delightful DJ friendly and club friendly grooves just in time for clubs reopening.

Anyway, enough hyperbole, listen and enjoy and judge for yourself, but listen, play loud and enjoy over and over again.

Elemind is the wonderful mix of funk and quirky techno created by maters Japanese artist, Katsuhiko Sagai and originally released on his début album, Pentacle in 2010.

This is the first of two appearances from Elliot Dodge on Nice & Nasty. Elliot  Dodge also releases for seminal labels such as Clone, Finest Blend, Mowar, Science and Dirty Works, not forgetting his own imprint Snap Shot.

His remix of Elemind for Katsuhiko is a true-to-form piece of pure funk, heavy on the bass and driven by subtle melody. Alongside cohorts Rennie Foster and Lee Hollman, Elliot Dodge is the latest wave of music makers influenced by the Detroit masters, Saunderson, May, Mills, Hood and Atkins.

Fans of Detroit techno and fans of tough repetitive techno will enjoy this and the lazy DJ will not enjoy the abrupt ending, so beware, as this relentless funky groove will excite and trick you in equal measure.

Tim Treubrodt has emerged in the past 18 months as a serious music maker. Inspired by his German forefathers Kraftwerk, Sven Vath, DJ Hell, he is  equally apt at creating Minimal, Ambient and techno scenes and soundscapes. Tim has fine tuned his skills as a music maker on Dublin Xpress, Static and Nice & Nasty.

With a remix resume that includes Marco Bernardi, Mark O'Sullivan (DK7), Lackluster, Katsuhiko, The Parallel and DJ Mourad for Nice & Nasty whilst remaking for E-Teb, Captain Random and Andrew Tiernan for DXR. Tim himself has been remixed by F.L.O., Mick Chillage and Phasen whilst this latest tune gets treated by Erell Ranson, FLO, Tomas Jirku and Carlos Nilmmns aka Ross MacMillan (Solab). Tim has also been collaborating with Jay Riordan, Phasen and Desy Balmer aka remlaB and his output is as prolific as it is good.

Remixes come courteous of Carlos Nilmmns, Tomas Jirku, F.L.O. and Erell Ranson. The music will speak for itself so forgive me for not banging on about deep this and subtle that and so on. This is Techno. This is Quality. This is Nachklangmusik.

Inspired by the old school, Dagham &amp; Remlab (Dave Ingham &amp; Desy Balmer) destroy Rennie Foster's melodic original and go for it, headstrong, pure funk and a wee nod to ye olde 'ardcore - you know the score. 
We are really not sure what genre it fits into to - Old School Rave, Dub Step, Detroit techno, and Abstract Experimental techno are all there but its funky beats, mad noises and a downright nasty vibe.
