Antnee Heard Darren Lewis - Tag Tic (feat. L. Starks & Blackface Killa)

Darren Lewis is a producer, manager, artist, song writer, and Co-President for New Lex City Media. He began making music at 14 years old just for fun with his cousins King Antnee, Lury Starks, and John Heard. They made mixtape style freestyles and At age 16 he began to take his art more serious. Linking with high school friend Doyle Parker who introduced him to his first drum machine the Alesis sr-16. Learning how to drum program fueled him to learn more equipment and become a better programmer. Later in 1997 he was introduced to Vincent Berry (Mr. Bout it), Ray Mabson, and Luni Imfamous of the then formed World Wide Records. Expanding his equipment knowledge he began to learn programming on the classic Ensoniq ASR-10. Along with his cousins they began to work on a group effort called the Heard Family. Starting to learn the business he and Anthony Heard formed Platinum Records in the year 2000. They built a roster of artist and produced their first full album "Platinum Records Vol. 1". Later he also went on to produce his older cousins second LP Mind Reaper & Mr Meechs "3rd & Race Such a Dirty Game". After generating a moderate buzz he took a hiatus and began working strictly on perfecting his production threw MPC's, Korg's and Roland equipment. In 2005 he and Anthony resurrected their label under a new name Lexus City Entertainment enlisting a new staff they created a new LP titled "Album of the Year". Once production was finished Darren went to prison in 2006 for drug trafficking which put the sell of the album on hold. He was released in January 2008 and began plotting his return. He linked with Anthony to revamp the label with a few loyal artists and a few new artists. Now in 2014 they have sealed a world wide distribution deal and have a list of projects slated to come for the next years to come. with a new digital market, hungry artists, and a knowledge of the biz. Darren Lewis is guaranteed to be a force of music in the future.
