Bristol singer-songwriter Robi Mitch creates vibrant indie rock drawing on traces of Motown, 60s pop and 70s psychedelia as well as global music scenes. Robi's experiences as a session guitarist based out of Taipei lend a distinctiveness to his sound.

Named after Bob Dylan and Robin Williamson of the Incredible String Band, Robi has a certain songwriting pedigree. As a lyricist he plays activist, poet and philosopher, blending humour with melancholy, whimsy and existential disquietude. Loki Lillistone (Bristol In Stereo) put it best when he said that “Robi's timeless songwriting unravels not dissimilarly to Cass McCombs'.” There is a certain looseness present which is hard to define but easy to recognise, and which appeals immediately to those for whom it is already familiar. Perhaps this is the true essence of the quality we call “soul.”

Your Life is a mix of soft rock and indie pop. The song started out as a disco beat with a funky bassline.
The track is layered with simple ambient guitars and synths, as well as some 12-string guitar.

Brighton dream-pop specialists Nature TV share new cut 'Hey Man' today with Nice Guys. Straddling a line between the hazy suburbia of Real Estate and the waterside stillness of Nick Drake, the band’s latest offering sees them hone in on their ‘indie-pop’ sound, masterfully crafting a crescendo of effortlessly silky guitars and tender, dreamy vocals to perfection.

So this track is basically me trying to shut out all the noises and negative  leeches out of my life and just keep on keeping on, even when it can be hard.
