Jace, that absolute master. Yeah, solid work on this, did a good job with those pitch bends and the the choice of instrumentation, sounds very close to its MD counterpart. Always love a bit of odd time signature madness.

This is something I prepared just in case I had been selected for weekly treats, but it didn't happen LOL. So you guys get my first true track of 2014! This one was fun. I really pushed myself here and I hope it shows. Maybe someday I can put together an album of songs like this for a net label like ubiktune or something. I will keep working on my sound and see if I can't round up a nice collection of the Best of Jredd tunes or something. What do you guys think? If I made a bunch of progressive rock, jazz, and funk tunes would I be good enough to give them some current tracks? Or do you feel given the high quality that this place has for their music that I'd need to push a little harder? If you do think my current tracks are good enough, which ones do you recommend? I have a few ideas myself but I could always use a second opinion! Thanks!

What if Project CARS was a mid to late 90s arcade racer? Well, it probably wouldn't sound like this, haha. I'm kind of on the fence - I wanna buy pCars 2 but after some things some friends have said regarding the physics, I don't really know if I want to commit. It looks like the IndyCars are quite good though, so I may end up getting it anyway and the game is probably fun anyway, lol.

Made exclusively with Roland's Sound Canvas VA plugin in SC-8820 mode, and features the melody from "Spa 24 Hours" by Stephen Baysted. :)

Cavern Crawl

This is my Round 3 submission from Idol 9; basically, the requirements this time were that you had to port a song from a game (and only from a game, so no compositions allowed), but unsampled, so it's definitely one of the most fair rounds. Since you can't really get much from SMW's shit samples tho, it was a lot harder to do something good with it... or so I've thought, because honestly I can't believe how well this worked out even now lmao; seriously, everything here worked so wonderfully well that it's scary O.O (it doesn't even sound like it's fucking unsampled for god's sake, hooooooly shit)

I got third place on this one, which was damn nice; then again, most of the people who were losing all the other rounds got pretty damn far here too, and that was honestly really nice lol

I used two MIDIs for this btw, the one that's in VGMusic and one which was made by a Japanese dude that I found on a Japanese website; mostly because the second MIDI, which I was using as a base, had a few innacuracies, and it was a bit hard to fix them, so I had to use the first MIDI as a bit of a reference lol

well, the requirements this time were that you had to use at least one sampled FM sample, and tbh, I actually had a lot of fun for this one! getting the pitch bends on the bass right was a pain in the ass tho, but I had fun with it nonetheless, haha

I got 4th place too, which was pretty nice IMO; I wasn't expecting to get a position like that, but still
