You can choose with music or without, this is a personal preference and depends on which version helps you focus and move into a deeper and more relaxing meditation.

CalmingBells - Breathing Meditation

With the craziness going on in the world, especially now... I wanted to give you a tool to help strengthen and boost your immune system. 

You will want to find a nice quiet space where you will not be disturbed for at least 30-35 minutes. Feel free to get comfortable and lay down or find a comfortable chair and let your mind be open. During this meditation I will guide you through a few different exercises/scenarios to help expand your mind to help you communicate and guide your immune system. 

"Your immune system is one of the most critical, and most fascinating, aspects of the mind-body connection. For a long time, the ability of immune cells to attack invading disease organisms was considered purely physical, even though the mechanism was not completely understood.
Then, in the ‘80s it was discovered that the immune system is highly intelligent; it became known as “a floating brain” because of the ability of immune cells to participate in the chemical messages sent by the brain throughout the body. This means that your thoughts, moods, sensations, and expectations are transmitted to your immune cells. When you meditate, these messages change in important ways." ~Deepak Chopra

Immune Strengthening Meditation

Make sure you have at least 20 minutes to devote to this meditation. 

Lovingkindness meditation stems from is a Buddhist prayer (Metta Bhavana) and is a technique with which you can create feelings of love and kindness, warm feelings that make your inner world a place of compassion. 
This is first practiced toward oneself since we often have difficulty loving others without first loving ourselves. Then it slowly ripples out to the world.
While you say these phrases, allow yourself to sink into the intentions they express. Loving-kindness meditation consists primarily of connecting to the intention of wishing ourselves or others happiness. However, if feelings of warmth, friendliness, or love arise in the body or mind, connect to them, allowing them to grow as you repeat the phrases. As an aid to the meditation, you might hold an image of yourself in your mind's eye. This helps reinforce the intentions expressed in the phrases.

May you be filled with lovingkindness... May you feel connected and calm... May you accept yourself just as you are... May you be happy and well... May you be safe... May you be peaceful and at ease...

LovingKindness Meditation - 20 min.

Meditation and mindfulness are not only for when we are physically still. If you are a person that can't sit still and find traditional meditation to be quite difficult or maybe you want to shake up your meditation practice a bit, walking mediation may be the answer. Walking meditation is a great meditation technique. It grew out of monasteries where Buddhist Monks used to sit for hours and hours to meditate. They were looking for ways to keep on meditating while moving their body, and the walking meditation became an obvious and beautiful option to implement that experience of presence while moving. We normally walk from point A to point B while thinking about other things, which means, in other words, we're not present. We're not in the moment. In the moment, being in the moment, being present would mean being with the sensations in the body as we walk, being very connected to the views around you, being connected to your breath, right? These are potential focal points in the moment for presence. So if you engage with any of those, fully focusing on that particular focal point you've chosen, while not reacting to it, then you're meditating while walking. Walking becomes a meditation technique.

Walking Meditation

I have always had a calling to help people in their pursuit for greater health and wellness. Growing up I thought that meant that I should become a medical doctor, so I obtained a degree in Biology from the University of Colorado in Denver. While this was fascinating and I loved every bit of learning about the human body, I knew deep down that becoming a doctor was not for me. All of my life something was tugging at me to seek out alternative medicines and different approaches to spirituality. When I started meditating, specifically doing transcendental meditation, I found that it calmed my brain, evaluated my creative side and helped me focus. Then I started dabbling in other forms of meditation and mindfulness from body scan, to breathing, and then cleansing your charka mediations and a whole other world opened up to me! I knew that if all of these forms of meditation helped me, then they could certainly be useful to my loved ones. I then acquired my Practitioner/Instructor of Mediation Certificate and am also a certified Reiki Master to help with energy healing. 

My Husband and I run a beautiful non-profit, the Puksta Foundation, where we grant scholarship to amazing undergraduates that are deeply committed to giving back to our communities and make real change. I now am able to guide meditations for them at our retreats so they can fill their tanks back up from all that they give. I have to say thank you to our Puksta Scholars who pushed me to create this channel. I hope that these meditations are able to help not only our scholars and alumni but their friends and family and so on…
