Nicholas Albert Lindenmeyer was born on July, 7, 1985. Raised primarily in Midlothian Texas. He is the writer of all of The Desert King's music and founded the project in 2005. He released 3 short EP's, "The Desert King","Bus Boys", "Diminished", and 1 single "Awake on Planet Black" before getting signed by Obscure Labor records in 2010 and releasing his first LP "Asleep". He is currently working on his follow up album "Awake" which will be a collaboration with Billy Baxter - Guitars, effects, Bass, Kacy Todd -ukulele, backing vocals, percussion, Morris Holdahl - Lap steel Guitars, Guitars, trumpet, sitar, percussion,  Thomas Gates - Guitars, Bass, backing vocals, Drums, keyboards. Nicholas Lindenmeyer - Lead vocals, Guitars, Piano, Keyboards, Organ, Percussion, Bass, and Drums.
