Unreleased Digital reaches it's 200th release. Reason enough to offer a special, nostalgic package representing Unreleased Digital's music from the present, as well as the one from the past.
All HELVETIC NERDS members came together to create the idea of this amazing piece of music. CHRIS REECE & DINKA worked out the final production of both mixes. The first mix convinces with modern progressive house synth lines, catchy melodies and an indie dance like breakdown section with a sort of children choir singing an angelic top melody.
Second mix is drawn to sound more old-school, the way Unreleased Digital sounded in 2007 when the first records hit download charts and got noticed by the EDM scene. Low-pass filtered chords playing an uplifting progression throughout, arpeggio synth lines support the magic of the mix and some epic breakdowns will set your crowd on fire, for sure.
Take a journey through 200 Unreleased Digital releases and enjoy this little helvetic time warp.

I wanted to teach myself how to use Audiosnap (a timing repair tool) in Sonar. So instead of faking a sloppy take and adjusting for rhythm, i sampled Lemongrab from Adventure Time into an entirely new composition. I am going to bed beaming tonight at how well this came out.
