When did ice cream appear in Europe?

There is a legend that the famous merchant and traveler Marco Polo introduced ice cream to Europeans after his trip to China in the 14th century. However, Food in History author Reay Tannahill warns against believing this. According to her, the famous gelato was invented by the architect and designer Bernardo Buontalenti in the 1500s. It contained starch, a special cream, and eggs.
Its spread to the rest of Europe, starting in France, is attributed to the wife of the Duke of Orléans, Catherine de' Medici. The recipe, however, has changed a lot. This VA brings together electronic artists from around the world, united in solidarity with the people of Gaza. In the face of silence and inaction from our governments, we believe it’s our responsibility, as artists and human beings, to contribute however we can.

SawtPalestine is an independent association founded by Ahmed Jome, a Palestinian based in Marseille, with the mission of building a bridge between Gaza and the World. Their work focuses on supporting orphans and displaced families in Gaza, especially those with no contact or aid from the outside.
On the ground, a local team operates daily to provide direct financial, emotional, and recreational support to children and families in need. Long-term, SawtPalestine aims to build an orphanage.

Since its creation, the association has also launched a traveling Palestinian kitchen, collaborated with activist networks and artists from different fields, and organized events to raise awareness of the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

В основе названия заложен разговор с самим собой: обращение к той точке, где приходит принятие и желание двигаться дальше, несмотря ни на что. 12 треков складываются в цельное повествование, где теплый аналоговый хаус переплетается с атмосферным брейкбитом и эхом раннего рейва и джангла.

Today we listen to the new album by Moscow producer and DJ Artem Xio "Как бы то ни было". The title is based on an inner dialogue: a message to the point where acceptance comes and the desire to move forward no matter what arises. The 12 tracks form a coherent narrative, where warm analog house intertwines with atmospheric breakbeat and echoes of early rave and jungle.
