My musical score for animator Mark Zerop's graduate film for the University of Edinburgh College of Art from 2020. 

I built this score around the flute, an instrument that I started playing when I was 11. While at the University of Edinburgh for my master's degree in film composing, I went to one of the recording studios and recorded myself improvising on the flute. I blended all these tracks together to create a forest of flutes, dozens and dozens of seemingly individual players. 

From that point onwards the score took off. I blended in orchestral elements like strings and a dulcimer and glockenspiels. I was really inspired by Mark's brilliant animation and real sense of atmosphere.
