I’VE CURATED MUSIC FOR 2 TRIALS, HOPING TO TREAT PATIENTS WITH TREATMENT-RESISTANT CONDITIONS SUCH AS CHRONIC PAIN AND GAMBLING ADDICTION. DURING THE TRIAL THEY ARE GIVEN AN ‘HEROIC’ DOSE OF SYNTHETIC PSILOCYBIN (AKA MAGIC MUSHROOMS), HEADPHONES AND A BLINDFOLD. THEY LISTEN TO THE MUSIC I SELECT FOR UP TO 8 HOURS WHILST TRANSITIONING THROUGH 6 PHASES OF PSYCHEDELIC EXPERIENCE.
