Ashley T. Phasha aka Nick Billyblues
is a God fearing man, musical architecture from Meadowlands
zone 8 in the South Western Township (SOWETO) but was raised in a small town, which resides in the middle of Jo'burg and Pretoria, Olifantsfontein Clayville East. Where he has devoted 90 percent of his practice, hard Time, including sacrifices for
the past 20 years. He has extensive experience in unusual and innovative creative
musical abilities. His recent activities include "lil Payme, Tha Phasha 1" mixtape, Nick
Billy Blues house mixtape, and currently working with a old friend/co­producer Deep
Infinity on a joint venture soon to hit the internet.
ATPhasha is primarily a hip­hop to home brewed house producer/ rapper, etc... Has a few years in the record label industry, and business side. Been in a musical
team, of 4 members, sharing a label producing for indie artists, and signed artists, has
lifted his ability not to only work, but bond with his clients, be able to reach the clients
expectations when it comes down to what sound their after or want to create.
Been born in a musical family, A.T.P never considered music as a career path for
him whiles growing. His father Patrick Phasha, a musical genius, lecturer, and
instrumentalists. Growing up A.T.P was surrounded by musical instruments (9) of he
would play around and jam, and watch his father play. Ms Phasha his mom, but
prefers to call her mommy, is a vocalist, a choir member, which reached grand
performances and church gatherings, has a old school, ma'miriam Makhebas tone, plus a bubbly personality was entertaining to watch. He can remember and still
happens to date, his mother singing whiles doing house chores on the weekends, and
sub­consciensly picked up, and now also sings, raps whiles doing house hold chores. Hehe...
ATPhasha "aka" Ashley Thabo Phashas' journey has been one "Hell of a trip" he
says. If there's a much better way or routes, to making it in "The game" music industry, he proposes that you should use it.
From the mistakes, bad choice's, sticking with the wrong company, to losing a
company, close brothers, broken relationships, socially unattendent, and selflessness,
sleepless nights, and over working to perfect his ability, therefore forgetting the main
objective, reasons why he CHOOSE to be music.
Very strict when it's studio time, cause "time lost, will never be regained". As his
"mommy" would tell him, when he lost focus.
