Composed Winter 2016, Waiting for Your Call is an intermediate piece for solo piano. A from a theme based around my phone number set to pitches on a pitch wheel is contrasted with a variation on the theme set in Db Major. The two contrasting themes are meant to portray a sense of tension and anxiety akin to that of waiting for an important phone call.

Waiting for Your Call

"In Such a Voice" is a trio for piano, violin, and cello, inspired by the play Cyrano De Bergerac by Edmond Rostand. It is inspired specifically by the scene at the end of the play when Cyrano reads his final letter to Roxane, who realizes that it was he who had been writing her letters the whole time, before Cyrano fights off his inner demons, and passes away.

This piece was selected by Chamber Music at the Scarab Club to be performed at their Souvenirs of Cyrano concert on April 30, 2017. Performed in this recording by Mary Siciliano (piano), Velda Kelly (violin), Nadine Deleury (cello).
