Bayawaka is an artist name of Golan Aflalo, originally from Jerusalem, presently living in Berlin. Initially, Golan was all about Broken Beats, PsyBass, Breaks and Chillout, but in the last few years he branched out to four-on-the-floor genres which he DJ’s under the name Golanski.

Since the early 2017 Golan is also a co-managing Digital Structures’s Berlin branch, and this following xXETEXx Vol. 02 is his take on the world of Psychedelic Tech - hand picked, road tested, grass fed and organic voyage into the diversity of dance floor sound. Nick Grater has been a stalwart powerhouse of the techno industry in South Africa for more than two decades. As with any DJ, his career began humbly with a simple residence at Atomic in Johannesburg. From these humble beginnings rose a force to be reckoned with. Nick has almost single-handedly kept the techno scene rolling forward in South Africa like an unstoppable steamroller of beats. As a firm believer in underground purism, Nick is recognized as one of the top techno performers in the country and a proud ambassador for this genre overseas. His intelligent, energetic, hard, driving style has secured him a reputation as one of the finest and most technically adept DJ/producers in South Africa.

Speaking of producing, Nick can boast of several fertile collaborations, as well as successful solo tracks, released on world-class record labels – Stick Recordings, Tech Burst, InLab, Hydraulix, Smitten, Maximum Minimum, Cluster, Routemaster, Powertools and Stay Up Forever, as well as Nick's Teknotribe records. He has also garnered praise for his remix of “Illuminate”, a track from local supernova band Springbok Nude Girls, which has been signed to iTunes in the UK and Sony BMG in South Africa.

Seemingly unstoppable, Nick’s tireless dedication, talent and passion have seen his career expand past our shores toward global stages and his incredible skill and phenomenal presence behind the decks have ensured his name feature on an international level in clubs and events in London, Brazil, Germany, Slovakia and all over Africa.
