Here's a mix I did back in 1991 around the time we were doing small events at the Raindance Clubhouse in Jenkins Lane, the recording is OK, not the best as it's from cassette but I've managed to brighten it up a bit. I have a feeling this may have been edited slightly at some point but for me it's one of my favourites. Hope you enjoy... please download and share :)

Impact FM late night session sometime in the mid 2000's when Dom and I had a Saturday night takeover until the daylight stopped play...... Lots of old school house and acid tracks revisited that take me back to the days when a night out was smiles and friendship without the attitude.... F**k i'm old ;)

ENCODE & DAVIP - VAMONOS (BRD005)

I started DJing in mid Eighties for fun... House changed things at end of 80's and eventually I got hold of some 1210's to compliment my growing record collection... Things escalated dramatically & rapidly after sharing mix tapes; playing clubs/Raves & Pirate Radio until late Noughties.

Roll on to present day... I still have my 1210's although battle scarred, most of my vinyl & a digital set up that I am spending greater amounts of time using.

I love tracks that are on the dark side & draw inspiration from the late 80's acid & early 90's dance scene especially if it involves a 303.... I trawl beatport/ for any releases that call to me or if nothing of quality break out the old stuff and try to get a mix together weekly....and upload if worthy!
